I don't watch much TV. There are all sorts of TV series that have come, been very popular and gone without me ever watching a single showing. I choose to do a number of other leisure activities like Tennis, yard work and reading. One of the other things I do is an occasional online opinion surveys.  I find the surveys interesting and get paid on the average about $5 to 10 dollars a month for a couple hours spent. That's not a lot of money, particularly when measured per hour. But better than zero as when in front of a television.

I learned about how to be offered legitimate surveys from kimkomando.com. This website is a great site to learn about technology in plain language. IMG has published a new Patriot International Medical Insurance Brochure.   Please replace your old brochures. They are now out of date. If you are a contracted IMG producer you should log into the producer area of IMG's website to download a personalized PDF with your own agent information and/or to order other supplies.  If you have any difficulty logging in you can get a sample copy of the new brochure through the link that follows below and contact the Brodsky Agency for help in getting personalized materials.

On April 20th The Brodsky Agency held a Webinar featuring solutions to disability problems that most professionals fail to recognize. The Webinar presenter was Thomas Petersen, of Petersen International, a company that we have brought to Brodsky Agency brokers since the early 1980s.  If you have clients that are in any of the following categories you need to review the Webinar materials. Effective 1/1/2010 marketing and sales begin of the new term products for United Home Life and United Farm Family Life Insurance Company. The company you use depends on your state.  You can download complete information from the links below but we're most excited about the following two items.

  1. Graded Benefit Term 10.  This new product is ideal for clients with significant health issues... up through a table 16 and including previously declined applicants. The premium is guaranteed for the initial ten year period and is guaranteed renewable for an additional ten years. The graded death benefit in policy year 1 is equal to return of premium plus 12%, year 2 is equal to return of premium plus 24% and years 3+ the full face amount. The health questions are very limited and include only a 1 year look-back on cancer, hearth attack, stroke and drug abuse. There are no routine exams, blood work, urine testing or attending physician statements.
  2. No minimum face amounts. There are no minimum face amounts on Express Issue Term Plus ( 20 year), Express Issue Term 30 (30 year) or Express Issue Term 65 (term to age 65).  With more and more companies raising their minimums the need for a product like this keeps growing.

Allied National has announced the availability of their new Short Term Medical Plus product. It's approved in Illinois and the majority of other states where we actively market. Have a high income client? We have something new from Petersen International. For clients whose disability needs cannot be satisfied because of Disability Insurance issue limits of traditional carriers... now you can simply submit the application and the Declaration page of a fully underwritten, standard issue, personal non-cancelable guaranteed renewable disability plan, issued within the last 90 days and we can issue a supplemental plan of disability insurance up to $10,000 per month but not exceeding in total 65% of income.
